Cleaner streets, parks and beaches — planned by AI, delivered by communities
Umeed-e-Karachi is a Karachi-born civic technology platform for anyone who has walked past a garbage pile and wondered who is supposed to fix it. Upload a photo of a dirty road, park, beach, hospital corridor, school ground or empty plot, and within seconds you get an assessment of the waste, a practical cleaning plan, a cost and time estimate, and a report you can forward straight to the relevant authority or NGO.

Our mission
Karachi generates more than 12,000 tonnes of solid waste every day, and a large share of it never reaches a landfill. The gap is rarely willingness — it is information. Nobody knows how big the pile is, what it will cost to clear, who is responsible, or whether the spot stayed clean afterwards. Umeed-e-Karachi closes that gap by making every dirty spot measurable, reportable and trackable, in English, Urdu and Sindhi.
What makes Umeed-e-Karachi different
AI that gives real answers
Every photo is assessed for waste type, severity, area and repair needs, then turned into a step-by-step cleaning plan with realistic cost and time estimates.
Built for Karachi
Direct links to SSWMB, KMC and CLICK complaint channels, plus a directory of environmental NGOs so a report reaches the people who can act on it.
Community first
Residents, students, mosques, schools and resident welfare associations can all document a spot, rally volunteers and show verified progress.
Greener after clean
The Green Space AI Planner recommends native trees and shrubs for bare land so a cleaned plot does not go back to being a dump.
